The present invention relates to a method and a system for monitoring a heart rate, capable of identifying a user identity. The system of the present invention comprises: a face recognition unit for recognizing a user face; an identity authentication unit for authenticating a user identity; a coordinate generation unit for generating a coordinate for measuring a heart rate; and a heart rate measuring unit for measuring the heart rate of a user. Therefore, the heart rate of the user can be more easily collected and processed.
