According to the present specification, disclosed are a metamaterial structure and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the metamaterial structure includes: a substrate; a first metal composed of a nanopattern on the substrate; a second metal which is galvanically substituted on the outer surface of the first metal; and a coating layer composed of the second metal.
