An exemplary, non-inductive resonant near field antenna (i) has a conductive plate having opposite first and second flat surfaces, the conductive plate extending from the first surface to the second surface through the conductive plate. Having one or more cutouts; (Ii) an insulator; (Iii) a feed element spaced from the first surface of the conductive plate by an insulator and configured to direct a plurality of RF power transmission signals toward the conductive plate. RF power transfer signals of at least some of the plurality of RF power transfer signals are radiated through the cutout (s) and accumulated within the near field distance of the conductive plate, thereby at least two of the RF energy accumulated in each of the cutout (s). Create two distinct zones. In addition, at least two separate zones of accumulated RF energy in the cutout (s) may comprise (i) a set of dimensions defining each of the cutout (s) and (ii) an array of cutout (s).
