The present invention relates to a method for producing a chemically robust superhydrophobic film. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: (first step) producing a vinyllidene fluoride-based polymer solution; (second step) mixing a fluorinated silane with the vinyllidene fluoride-based polymer solution of the first step to prepare a mixed solution; and (third step) spray-coating a substrate with the mixed solution of the second step. According to the present invention, a film having superhydrophobic properties can be produced by forming a coating layer having nano and micro structures on the surface of a substrate by using the mixed solution which is prepared by adding the fluorinated silane to the vinyllidene fluoride-based polymer solution. The film formed of the coating layer of the mixed solution of the vinyllidene fluoride-based polymer and the fluorinated silane can be produced by a simple spray process, and thus can form superhydrophobic coating inexpensively on a large area. In addition, the film having superhydrophobic properties formed by the method shows excellent stability with respect to solvents, and thus can increase the suitability for chemically robust superhydrophobic applications.
