The present invention relates to a technology for silencing plant genes using broad bean wilt virus 2 (BBWV2) and, specifically, to a gene silencing vector using BBWV2 capable of exhibiting a gene silencing effect on a plant intrinsic gene. The gene silencing vector of the present invention can be effectively used to study the function of plant genes according to the loss of gene function and to discover useful genes by silently and quickly silencing plant intrinsic genes.
