The present invention relates to a transparent electrode array for deep brain stimulation and neural signal detection method using the same. The transparent electrode array for deep brains stimulation comprises: a biocompatible dielectric substrate; a plurality of electrode sites disposed on one side of the substrate; a plurality of electrically conductive contacts disposed on the other side of the substrate; and an interconnector extending from the electrode sites and connected to the contacts. The electrode sites are made of metal materials. The interconnector is made of a carbon material. The transparent electrode array for deep brain stimulation of the present invention is capable of accurately detecting deep brain electrical stimulation and brain waves by enhancing the ability to transmit a current in vivo and minimizing image distortion in magnetic resonance imaging.
