The present invention relates to a sol-gel method for producing an anticorrosion coating consisting of at least one oxide layer (31, 32) on a metal substrate (10). A non-aqueous solution 1 of an oxide precursor is prepared (S1) and deposited on at least one surface 11 on the metal substrate to at least partially cover the surface of the metal substrate with a film 20 comprising the precursor of the oxide (S2). ). Hydrolysis-condensation of the oxide precursor is performed by exposing the film to a humid atmosphere to form an oxide network on the film (S3). Then, a process of stabilizing the film on the substrate surface is performed (S4), followed by heat treatment (S5) of the metal substrate surface to crystallize the network of oxides and form an anticorrosion coating.
