The present invention relates to a recombinant expression vector for plant transformation, a tobacco transformed by the vector, and a method for mass-producing brazzein using the same in order to mass-produce brazzein from a plant body. The recombinant vector of the present invention can express a brazzein protein in an active form in plant cells. Accordingly, the brazzein mass-produced from a plant has the same activity as that of wild-type brazzein, thereby contributing to the commercialization of sweeteners in the future.
