The present invention relates to a recombinant expression vector for plant transformation, a tobacco transformed by the vector and a method for mass production of brazein using the same in order to produce a large amount of brazein in a plant. The recombinant vector of the present invention can express the brazein protein in an active form in plant cells. Thus, the mass produced brazein in the plant is the same as the wild type of zebrain can contribute to the future commercialization of sweeteners.
