The reinforcement paper comprises a nonwoven fibrous mat impregnated with the polyetherimide composition. Nonwoven fiber mats include reinforcing fibers, high strength toughening fibers, or a combination thereof. Polyetherimide compositions include polyetherimides having repeating units as defined herein. Also disclosed are methods of making reinforcement paper. The method includes contacting at least a portion of the nonwoven fiber mat with the composition to form a prepreg and heating under conditions effective to provide a reinforcement paper. Articles comprising such reinforcement papers are also described.
