The present invention relates to a secondary battery capable of minimizing an empty space inside a case and preventing deformation due to the empty space, a battery pack including the secondary battery, and a device using the secondary battery. The secondary battery comprises: a case accommodating an electrode assembly therein; a tab unit extending from one side end portion of the electrode assembly; and an extension unit formed at one end portion of the electrode assembly and extending from the electrode assembly to fill a space spaced apart between the case and the electrode assembly at a portion other than the portion where the tab unit is formed.
