O Primer set for detection of serotype O Foot-and-Mouth Disease viruses and uses thereof

The present invention relates to a primer set for diagnosing serotype O foot and mouth disease viruses; a composition for diagnosing serotype O foot and mouth disease viruses comprising the primer set; a kit for diagnosing serotype O foot and mouth disease viruses comprising the composition; and a method for diagnosing serotype O foot and mouth disease viruses using the primer set. The primer set for detecting serotype O foot and mouth disease viruses of the present invention can detect specifically serotype O in the foot and mouth disease viruses with a low concentration sample, and can detect specifically only serotype O in the foot and mouth disease viruses except other pathogens. In addition, the present invention can detect serotype O in the foot and mouth disease viruses in various regional types at home and abroad compared with existing primer sets. Moreover, an RT-LAMP method using the primer set for detecting serotype O in the foot and mouth disease viruses of the present invention can improve more sensitivity than existing PCR-based diagnosis method, reduce a testing time, and enables reactions with low-cost equipment such as constant-temperature water tub. Accordingly, the present invention can rapidly and effectively diagnose serotype O in the foot and mouth disease viruses in a small size diagnosis chamber, not a specialized diagnosis chamber, or a site, thereby being easily used in virus diagnosis markets at home and abroad.
