The present invention relates to ground covering for breeding livestock and a livestock breeding pen including the same and, more specifically, an objective of the present invention is to provide a clean and excellent livestock pen environment through ground covering for breeding livestock including sawdust and medicinal charcoal. In particular, the number of beneficial microorganisms can be increased and odor caused by harmful gas, such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, volatile fatty acid, acetic acid, and the like, can be effectively removed. In other words, through fermentation of the sawdust and the medicinal charcoal, the number of beneficial microorganisms can be increased and the odor can be removed. Moreover, the sawdust and the medicinal charcoal are fermented, such that expenses for processing livestock excretions. Moisture in the livestock pen is maintained at a proper level through a combination of the sawdust and the medicinal charcoal, thereby strengthening a breeding environment and preventing respiratory diseases of the livestock even in winter.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
