The present invention relates to re-stacked layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets, a method of manufacturing the nanosheets, and an electrode for a supercapacitor comprising the nanosheets. The smaller the charge density of anions added during the re-stacking is, the greater the spacing between nanosheets in the re-stacked LDH nanosheets is, so that the degree of re-stacking of the nanosheets can be reduced.
