CATALYST FOR OXIDIZATION REACTION USING PEROXIDE INCLUDING COMPLEX OF METAL ION COORDINATED WITH 2,6-BIS(BIS(2-PYRIDYLMETHYL)AMINO)-METHYL-4-METHYLPHENOL LIGAND
The present invention relates to: a catalyst for oxidization reaction which uses a peroxide including a complex of metal ion coordinated with 2,6-bis[(bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino)-methyl]-4-methylphenol (H-bpmp) ligand; a composition for detecting pyrophosphate (PPi) and a composition for detecting pyrophosphatase (PPase), including the catalyst and hydrogen peroxide; and a composition for detecting biomolecules, including the catalyst and an oxidase specific to the biomolecule to be analyzed. The catalyst uses peroxidase-like catalytic activity of complexes of various transition metals coordinated with H-bpmp ligand, can be used in a stable state, can be prepared with low cost, and can be produced in a large scale. In addition, it is possible to detect not only pyrophosphate and pyrophosphatase but also biomolecules such as glucose, cholesterol, and choline, producing hydrogen peroxide through the reaction with a specific oxidase by a simple method based on colorimetry.
