The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising an extract extracted from chestnut husks or a peptide fraction isolated therefrom, which provides significant benefits for tightening skin pores, alleviating hair loss and the like, and comprising natural caffeine derived from coffee, wherein the cosmetic composition is prepared by the steps of: a) isolating and selecting the husks surrounding the fruits of chestnut trees; b) pulverizing the husks isolated and selected in the step a) to form powder; c) concentrating an extract which is hydrolyzed by using an enzyme on the powder in the step b), or concentrating a peptide fraction isolated from the extract, followed by spray drying; and d) mixing 30-99 wt% of a compound and 1-70 wt% of natural caffeine, wherein the compound is formed of any one of the hydrolyzed extract in the step c), the peptide fraction isolated from the extract, or a mixture thereof.
