The present invention relates to a three-stage unbalanced Doherty power amplification device and a design method thereof. The device, according to the present invention, comprises: a main power amplifier; a first auxiliary power amplifier and a second auxiliary power amplifier having an input terminal in common with the main power amplifier; and first to third unbalanced impedance modulators connected to output terminals of the respective power amplifiers. The first to third unbalanced impedance modulators are controlled by predetermined impedance in order to adjust a back-off period according to the size of a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of an input signal. According to the present invention, the back-off period of output power can be easily adjusted according to the PAPR of the input signal, by simply adjusting the impedance of the modulator using the unbalanced impedance modulator connected to the output terminal without additionally installing a complicated external circuit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
