The present invention relates to a structure for preventing a malfunction of a lead-acid battery indicator caused by foreign matter contamination. More specifically, when foreign matter, such as oil generated in manufacture of a separation plate, a floating material scattered during circulation of an electrolyte, and the like, included in the electrolyte is adsorbed to the internal space of the indicator, movement of an indicator ball is prevented and operation of the indicator is hindered so the indicator indicates abnormality even if a lead-acid battery is normal to confuse a user. To solve such a problem, a fine hole type filter unit having a plurality of through-holes (410) formed at predetermined intervals to leave only the filtered electrolyte around a gravity ball is formed on the lower side and both side surfaces of a lower holder disposed on the lower side of the indicator, thereby functioning as a filter to prevent an inflow of the foreign matter and allow only the pure electrolyte to remain in an indicator indication space through a capillary phenomenon. Accordingly, the present invention solves a problem of existing technology to confuse the user when the indicator indicates abnormality even if the lead-acid battery is normal.
