The present invention relates to a resin composition for a mulching film capable of controlling biodegradation rate and a biodegradable mulching film using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a resin composition for a mulching film capable of controlling biodegradation rate by including surface modified biomass having improved dispersibility with a polyolefin-based resin and an oxidative biodegradation agent for biodegradation rate control; and to a biodegradable mulching film using the same.
