According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for outputting an ultraviolet index using satellite data comprises: a processor performing calculation in accordance with an ultraviolet index formula calculating an ultraviolet index by receiving a plurality of input variables and a first formula which can be obtained through a calculation process of a first input variable which cannot be obtained as a measurement value provided by a satellite in the ultraviolet index formula, calculating the first input variable through the first formula, and outputting the ultraviolet index by calculating the ultraviolet index formula using the first input variable and the measured value as an input variable; and a reception unit receiving the measured value and providing the measured value to the processor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
