The present invention can increase the accuracy of estimating a blood concentration of an analyte. According to an aspect of the present invention, an optical sensor comprises: a light source irradiating light to a subject; a photodetector array including a plurality of photodetectors having different distances from the light source, wherein each photodetector detects an optical signal returning from the subject, and measures a light intensity of the detected optical signal; and a processor determining a correlation coefficient with regard to a predetermined variable based on the measured light intensity and determining the quality of the optical signal based on the determined correlation coefficient.
