The present invention relates to a smart integrated control and monitoring system applied with ICT convergence technology for increasing productivity of livestock and a method thereof. The smart integrated control and monitoring system of the present invention integrally manages barn environment monitoring, livestock health condition monitoring, livestock telemedicine, and specification management. To this end, the smart integrated control and monitoring system provides standardized data and system platforms. That is, the smart integrated control and monitoring system collects various barn-related information and turns the same into big data so that analysis data according to barn environment and livestock health conditions are processed and generated. The smart integrated control and monitoring system detects barn environment information and livestock biometric information in real time by using a plurality of sensor nodes, and applies the information to barn environment control, livestock health condition determination, early warning of abnormal signs, and specification management using big data and the analysis data. The present invention can improve the quality and productivity of the livestock and prevent diseases by using extensive data accumulation in a big data concept.
