Cre TREK-1 Animal model of cre-dependent anti-depressant phenotype and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention relates to manufacture of an anti-depressant animal model through selective expression suppression of TREK-1. The present inventors manufacture a transformed mouse in which a conditional TREK-1 shRNA expression is induced by using a Cre-loxP gene expression system in order to manufacture a TREK-1 knockdown animal model, and confirm that the transformed mouse shows an anti-depressant effect against stress. The mouse manufactured by the present invention is expected to be used for researching major brain parts and related mechanisms inducing the anti-depressant effect and can be used for researching various diseases related to the TREK-1 gene.
