The present invention relates to a composition for the preservation of a feed raw material including at least one selected from metabisulfite and organic acids, and a feed manufacturing method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to novel uses of metabisulfite and organic acids capable of preserving fruit and vegetable discards (FVD) used as a feed raw material for a long time, and to a silage manufacturing method using the same. According to a result for processing the at least one selected from the metabisulfite and the organic acids in the FVD, microbiological stability and freshness of the FVD are maintained longer in an aerobic environment, and preservation of nutrients and an antioxidant function is very effective. A silage feed manufacturing method including a preprocessing step using at least one selected from the metabisulfite and the organic acids in the aerobic environment can improve a preservation feature for an anaerobic preservation step. Specifically, co-ensiling of the FVD used with almond shells and corn gluten has exhibited the best preservation feature.
