The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a calamansi extract as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention contains the calamansi extract as an active ingredient, wherein calamansi is extracted with water or an aqueous ethanol solution after drying or freezing calamansi in order to maximize the antioxidant efficacy of the calamansi, thereby being usefully applied to cosmetic products with excellent anti-inflammatory effects and skin whitening effects while antioxidant efficacy is maximized.
