A photovoltaic power generation managing system for diagnosing a state of a photovoltaic power generation system including a solar cell array and a photovoltaic inverter includes: a weather information collecting part that generates first weather data by measuring at least one of a solar radiation quantity, a temperature, a humidity, a wind direction, and a wind speed; a power predicting part that calculates first power by predicting the power of the photovoltaic power generation system based on the first weather data; a power measuring part that is disposed between the solar cell array and the photovoltaic inverter and an output terminal of the photovoltaic inverter to calculate second power by measuring the power of the photovoltaic power generation system; and a control part that calculates the efficiency of the photovoltaic power generation system by comparing the first power and the second power and determines at least one of a failure site and a failure cause based on the second power when the efficiency deviates from a reference efficiency range. Accordingly, a failure, a failure site, and a failure cause of the photovoltaic power generation managing system can be determined.
