The present invention relates to a method of improving antifouling performance of an active antifouling surface by using active gas generation, and more particularly, to a method of improving antifouling performance of an active antifouling surface by using active gas generation, including: forming an electrode layer pattern on a substrate through a photolithography process; forming a lattice layer pattern on the substrate on which the electrode layer pattern is formed through a spin coating or lamination process and the photolithography process; performing Teflon coating to reduce surface energy of a lattice layer of the substrate on which the lattice layer pattern is formed so as to obtain a hydrophobic/superhydrophobic surface; and applying a potential difference to the electrode layer pattern to allow an electric current to flow so as to generate an electrolyzed gas from the surface with less energy when a gas layer on the hydrophobic/superhydrophobic surface is decreased.
