The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for the diagnosis of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) and a method of providing information for the diagnosis of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy. As a result of confirming the difference in gene expression related to the metabolism of sphingolipid and triacylglycerol among lipid metabolism of adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) in adults and childhood cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy (CCALD) in children, genes regulating the lipid metabolism can be provided as a biomarker for the diagnosis of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy, and a diagnosis method for accurately distinguishing X-linked adrenomyeloneuropathy can be provided by using the difference in an expression level.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
