The present invention relates to a method and a system for tracking multiple objects in a video, and more specifically, to a technique and a system for tracking objects by using the characteristics of the objects in a video, tracking movements of the objects, and performing correction when missing or incorrectly tracking the objects to accurately track the objects. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining an image of an area of interest; identifying a plurality of objects included in the image respectively, and tracking a tracklet of the objects; evaluating the reliability of the tracking results; and re-identifying the objects whose reliability evaluation value is below a threshold value and re-tracking the tracklet of the objects.
