The present invention relates to a fire-resistant coating automation system for traditional building materials, and a fire-resistant coating method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a fire-resistant coating automation system, wherein in treating traditional building materials to be fire-resistant by applying a fire-resistant composition, spraying conditions and drying conditions for the fire-resistant composition are controlled according to a water content of the traditional building material to be treated such that a fire-resistant traditional building material of high quality is obtained and processing efficiency is improved. The fire-resistant coating automation system for traditional building materials comprises: a transfer unit for transferring a traditional building material supplied from the outside into a housing by moving the traditional building material from one side to the other side; a moisture measurement unit for measuring a water content of the surface of the traditional building material accommodated inside the housing; a spray unit for applying a fire-resistant composition onto the surface of the traditional building material accommodated inside the housing; and a drying unit for removing moisture from the traditional building material accommodated inside the housing and drying the fire-resistant composition coated on the traditional building material.
