Disclosed are a method for providing a shopping auxiliary service and a device therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a sight auxiliary device comprises: a main body worn on a human body of a user who is a sight vulnerable group; a photographing unit mounted on the main body and photographing a front image in real time; a processor recognizing visual information from the photographed image and converting the recognized visual information into aural information; and an output unit outputting the aural information.
