The present invention discloses a device and a method for converting blue color light of a blue laser diode of a laser lamp into white color light. The conversion device of the present invention comprises: an outside air circulation fan installed at the far right of the device for converting laser lamp light into a white color to suction or discharge outside air; a laser diode unit emitting white color light; a heat sink installed at the bottom of the laser diode unit to radiate heat emitted from the laser diode unit; a diffusion lens unit installed at the top of the laser diode unit and formed in a semicircular shape to diffuse the white color light emitted from the laser diode unit; a conical reflecting plate installed at the top of the diffusion lens unit to reflect the white color laser light diffused from the diffusion lens unit; a temperature sensor installed to be spaced apart from the heat sink in a front direction; and a convex lens unit forming the uppermost end of the device for converting laser lamp light into white color installed in front of the temperature sensor, and focusing and emitting the white color laser light reflected from the reflecting plate. Accordingly, the present invention enables the implementation of converting blue color light of a laser diode into white color light, which was not succeeded before, to realize a much more efficient white color light source than conventional fluorescent lamps or LEDs for automobile headlamps, homes, or offices, and the like.
