Provided are a device and a method for sensing a user posture by detecting changes in user center of gravity. The method includes the steps of: sensing a basic posture of the user by detecting a basic posture of a user by using user body information, center of pressure information, and center of gravity information; and sensing a changed posture of the user by using the changed center of pressure information and changed center of gravity information of the user.
