The present invention relates to a method for protecting portrait rights using a wireless terminal, and to prevent an unexpected portrait rights problem. According to the present invention, the method for protecting the portrait rights using the wireless terminal is executed through an application of the wireless terminal including a touchscreen and one or more camera units and comprises: a first step of reading video or photograph information acquired through the predetermined camera unit to recognizing N facial feature point relations for each of N facial regions corresponding to N(N=1) facial regions; a second step of linking with a storage medium, which is set to store and manage registered facial feature point combinations registered to discriminate a facial region set as a marking target, to discriminate n(0=n=N) facial feature point relations matched with at least a part of the registered facial feature point combinations within a preset allowance range among the N facial feature point relations recognized from the video or photograph information; and a third step of determining, as an effective facial region, n facial regions corresponding to the n matched feature point relations among the N facial regions included in the video or photographing information or processing (N-n) facial regions corresponding to (N-n) unmatched feature point relations as a hidden facial region.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
