The present invention relates to a method and a device for detecting an active terminal in a wireless communication system based on grant-free uplink transmission. The method for detecting an active terminal in a wireless communication system based on grant-free uplink transmission comprises the steps of: receiving overlapped signals from k active terminals; calculating an estimation probability that all terminals in a cell of a base station are active terminals through a dimension spreading deep artificial neural network using the received signals as input; and detecting the IDs of the k active terminals in the order of the largest estimation probability.
