The present invention relates to a functional beverage comprising, as an active ingredient, mineral water with high hardness having an optimal mixing ratio of ionized minerals (Ca : Mg) based on various minerals dissolved in saline groundwater or deep sea water. The functional beverage of the present invention not only imparts a refreshing feeling in the mouth upon consumption, but also suppresses lactic acid accumulation and improves athletic performance.
