An objective of the present invention is to provide an accurate image of the vicinity of a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an around-view monitor (AVM) system with a function of restoring a blind spot image of a camera based on a side mirror image comprises: a plurality of cameras installed on a main body of a vehicle to acquire and output a plurality of vicinity images obtained by photographing the vicinity of the vehicle; a plurality of side mirror cameras installed on side mirrors of the vehicle to acquire and receive a left assistance image and a right assistance image; and a control device to generate an AVM image by using the plurality of vicinity images, and use the left assistance image and the right assistance image to correct and output a blind spot of the AVM image.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
