The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for managing a power supply of a ship to identify abnormal and illegal handling of the power supply of the ship. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for managing a power supply of a ship performed by a power supply management apparatus of the ship comprises the steps of: extracting connection condition data of a power cable by monitoring connection conditions of the power cable connected to a generator power source or a battery power source supplying power to a distribution board of the ship; measuring power consumption of the generator power source or the battery power source based on the stored connection condition data; extracting power usage data based on characteristics of the measured power consumption; and identifying abnormal or illegal handling of the power supply of the ship by comparing the extracted power usage data with a previously stored normal power supply model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
