The present invention relates to an infectious clone containing the gene of papaya leaf dried kantovirus and a plant infection system using the same. The present invention uses a recombinant plasmid and a transforming strain containing a papaya leaf-dried virus, and can easily cause disease in various crops, such as gourd or legume, in addition to peppers known to be infected with the papaya leaf-dried virus.
