Methods and apparatus for evaluating emotional metastasis using an electrocardiogram are described. Emotional metastasis evaluation method: detecting an ECG raw singnal signal by two ECG sensors in two socially interacting subjects; Extracting a digitized ECG signal by sampling the ECG circular signal at a predetermined sampling frequency; Extracting an RRI (R-peak to R-peak Interval) from the ECG signal; Extracting HRP from the RRI; Calculating a correlation coefficient ( r ) using the HRPs of the two subjects; And evaluating emotional transition between the two subjects using the correlation coefficient ( r ).
