A storage management method is disclosed. The storage management method includes the following steps: an administrator receives a data write request, determines data types of write data pages (S1301), and different logical blocks for write data pages of different data types. Assignment-Each Logical Block Corresponds to Write-To Data Pages of the Same Data Type (S1302), and Sends a Data Write Instruction to the SSD-The Data Write Instruction corresponds to at least one allocated logical block. Carries information of pages and at least one allocated logical block (S1303); The SSD receives a data write command, and writes data pages to be written corresponding to the at least one allocated logical block to the physical block corresponding to the at least one assigned logical block based on the data write command (S1304). This effectively reduces the write amplification that occurs when erasing the physical blocks of the SSD.
