The present invention relates to a system for monitoring elderly people living alone, which provides a plurality of sensing modules for detecting a target, counts and analyzes the number of detection and the detection time in each sensing module, and precisely monitors a current state for the elderly people (including all household members who need to be monitored). The system comprises an analysis module, which comprises: a first sensing module installed on the entrance side for detecting the target; a second sensing module installed at the main living space to detect the target; a counting unit counting the number of detection and the detection time of the first and second sensing modules; and a state analysis unit generating state data by analyzing the number of detection and the detection time.
