The present invention relates to a composition and kit for diagnosing carbamate-based drug resistance of small brown planthopper, and a method using the same. The resistance evaluation method according to one aspect can check whether resistance has been developed within two days, thereby having an effect of shortening the diagnostic time compared with the resistance diagnosis method through bioassay. In addition, the method of the present invention can measure mutant frequency using DNA or mRNA of populations, compared to a method of calculating the mutant frequency after sequencing each individual, thereby reducing a cost.
