The present invention relates to a target detection method of a phased array radar and a recording medium thereof and, more specifically, to a target detection method of a phased array radar, which is to detect a target by using a phased array radar mounted on a moving object, and a recording medium thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a target detection method of a phased array radar is to detect a target from a phased array radar steering beams electronically. The target detection method comprises the processes of: identifying posture information of a moving object having the phased array radar; receiving elevation information and azimuth information of a target from a monopulse antenna installed in the phased array radar; correcting the input elevation information and azimuth information by using the identified posture information of the moving object; and detecting the position of the target from the corrected elevation information and azimuth information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
