The present invention relates to a footrest for a special vehicle. More specifically, the footrest for a special vehicle comprises: a support frame directly coupled with a rear frame or a lateral side of a special vehicle; a vertical frame having the shape of a rectangular frame to be coupled with the upper surface of the support frame in a vertical direction; a footrest having one end hinged with the bottom of the vertical frame to be rotated up and down; and a locking device installed on one of both sides of the vertical frame to fix the footrest to disable the footrest from rotating when the footrest is located side by side with the vertical frame. As a pedal is installed on the locking device, a user can rotate the footrest with a foot. According to the present invention, the footrest for a special vehicle is easy to use because a user carrying luggage can control the footrest with a foot, and also, the locking device is fastened in a very substantial structure, so the device is very safe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
