The present invention relates to a system to detect a malfunctioning section of an overhead distribution line. According to the present invention, consecutive image information of a malfunctioning section display part in regard to a distribution line of a corresponding section is obtained through an infrared penetration camera and a camera module and provided to an integrated management server in accordance with a remote control signal of the integrated management server due to the operation of a circuit breaker in the corresponding section in case malfunction occurs in an overhead distribution line, and the integrated management server displays the images information of the camera module and the image information of the infrared penetration camera as one single image which is vertically divided through a display panel. Therefore, the system can enable an integrated manager to remotely check the malfunctioning section based on a thermo-time pigment color variation state of the malfunctioning section display part using the image information of the infrared penetration camera and identification information of a serial number type using the image information of the camera module.
