The present invention relates to a digital traffic signal controller testing system based on controller area network (CAN) communication. According to the present invention, since a computer interface device (CID) is formed to be directly connected to each of CAN communication lines of a digital traffic signal controller, simulation information, which is generated from a simulation program by being interconnected with the CAN communication line corresponding to a main control unit (MLC), sign control units (SCL), detectors (DLC), pedestrian push buttons (PIB), and remaining pedestrian walking time indicators, can be correctly and quickly provided to the main control unit (MLC). A graphic user interface (GUI) provided from the simulation program of a simulation device includes icons for each of the sign control units (SCL), the detectors (DLC), the pedestrian push buttons (PIB), and the remaining pedestrian walking time indicators, various kinds of simulation information for the sign control units (SCL), the detectors (DLC), the pedestrian push buttons (PIB), and the remaining pedestrian walking time indicators can be generated through a simple operation. According to the present invention, the digital traffic signal controller testing system comprises the traffic signal controller, the CID, and the simulation device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
