The present invention relates to an anti-bacterial agent comprising a silver-zinc oxide nano-composite or a disinfectant comprising the same. The silver-zinc oxide nano-composite is obtained by producing zinc oxide in combination with silver nanoparticles, wherein the zinc oxide has various advantages such as having good thermal stability by not causing volatilization or decomposition, having no human toxicity, being inexpensive, and having high anti-bacterial properties against gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria. The produced silver-zinc oxide nano-composite can be used as an anti-bacterial agent or a disinfectant which has an excellent microbial sterilization effect under UV irradiation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
