The present invention relates to a macroporous polystyrene support for immobilization of methane oxidizing bacteria and a method for producing methanol from biogas using the same. The macroporous polystyrene structure in which the methane oxidizing bacteria of the present invention is immobilized is not only excellent in immobilization efficiency, but also when it is used in the production of methanol from biogas, stability is increased during methanol production, and repeated culture is performed. Methanol production efficiency is maintained and can be reused multiple times.
