The present invention relates to a pulverized coal boiler. The pulverized coal boiler comprises: a furnace wall forming a combustion chamber; a burner injecting a fuel into the combustion chamber and combusting the fuel; and a hot water pipe arranged in the combustion chamber to supply hot water heated by combustion heat of the fuel injected by the burner. The pulverized coal boiler comprises: an outer wall enclosing the furnace wall; multiple partitions installed between the furnace wall and the outer wall at fixed intervals so that multiple preheating chambers are divided at fixed intervals; multiple air blowers installed to supply outer air to the bottom of each of the multiple preheating chambers; multiple air discharge pipes formed one by one in the upper part of each of the multiple preheating chambers; and multiple air supply pipes in which one end is connected to the air discharge pipe and the other end is arranged to connect the outer wall and the furnace wall to the combustion chamber in order to supply the air discharged through the multiple air discharge pipes into the combustion chamber.
